This program is designed for communication professionals or others interested in tackling the critical questions emerging in the fields of journalism, digital media and technology, strategic communication and audience studies, and global mass communication. This is an interdisciplinary and highly individualized degree program that will equip you with the tools and knowledge to make an impact as a researcher, thought leader and educator.
During these informational sessions, attendees will meet graduate faculty and directors of some of the research labs and centers where you will be conducting research alongside world-class scholars: the MIDAS Lab directed by Hazel Kwon (PhD); the News Co/Lab directed by Asheley Landrum (PhD); the SCORE Lab directed by Rich Johnson (PhD); the Center for Media & Communities directed by Chelsea Reynolds (PhD); and the Knight Center for the Future of News led by Andy Pergam.
