EBB and Flow | Senior BFA Exhibition

Gallery 100 is pleased to present “EBB & Flow,” a BFA group exhibition featuring Ashley Saenz Gomez, Parker Hatic, Jennifer Reyes-Aranda, Samantha Velazquez, Emily Houlihan, Johanna Scarlata, Sedona Sturgeon, Echo Brown, Williams Nordrum and Allen Nguyen. The ten interdisciplinary artists in “EBB & Flow” explore how ideas move between inner life and shared space. Through painting, sculpture, textiles, printmaking and mixed media, the artists present works that range from reflections on memory and perception to imaginative narratives rooted in fantasy and creative discovery. 

While each artist follows a distinct direction, engaging subjects such as storytelling, mental health, political defiance and childhood inspiration, their works share a common interest in translating lived experience into visual narratives that invite viewers to feel, question and remember. The exhibition highlights the movement of ideas through image, material and form, and reflects how art evolves through personal narratives, collective momentum and the continuous exchange of perspectives. “EBB & Flow” invites viewers to move through shifting visual rhythms, noticing how different practices and perspectives can coexist, overlap and connect within a single exhibition.
