Join the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) and College of Global Futures to learn about the 2025 Climate Corps summer fellowship for graduate students. Climate Corps matches fellows to a high-impact company, nonprofit, or government agency to support their climate and sustainability initiatives.
This information session will describe the fellowship program, sample projects and host organizations, and review the application process and timeline. A Climate Corps alum will also share their experience in the program and tips to stand out as an applicant for the summer 2025 cohort.
About EDF Climate Corps:
Since 2008, Climate Corps has placed over 1,700 graduate-level fellows in host organizations including NYC Mayor's Office of Climate & Environmental Justice, Sephora, Hershey Company, Wawa, and Iron Mountain. Working under the guidance of a host supervisor and Climate Corps manager, fellows uncover energy and sustainability solutions for their host organizations. Projects may focus on emission reduction strategy, renewables and energy efficiency, supply chain sustainability, zero-emission vehicles, environmental and climate justice, food waste reduction, and sustainable agriculture. As a Climate Corps fellow, you will be custom-matched with a host organization based on your location, industry, and project-type preferences. You will participate in interactive training, have access to online resources, and receive ongoing professional development opportunities through the summer and your career.
Please Note: This program is for graduate students, but all students, faculty, and community members are welcome to attend.
This event is hosted by College of Global Futures (CGF) Career Services.
