Writer and activist James Baldwin explored the complexities of race, identity, love, and class with searing insight. Join Dr. Neal Lester and ASU Project Humanities for a community sharing event as we commemorate 100 years of Baldwin, one of the most important figures of the 20th century. How does James Baldwin's work impact you? What are your favorite pieces of his? Attendees are encouraged to bring a line, a poem, a passage, a personal story, or something else that connects you with Baldwin for a two- to three-minute share.
