eXMeLab at ASU West Valley

Event description

  • Arts and entertainment

In 2019, Tra Bouscaren (Assistant Professor of Interdisciplinary Arts & Performance) founded the Expanded Media Lab as a network of artists and scholars with a shared belief that collaboration has inherent value. Our group’s name shortens to ‘eXMeLab’ to indicate a move away from “me-centric” culture. To that end, everything in the show represents a collaboration between at least two artists. The shared collaborative approaches should be appreciated in a college devoted to interdisciplinary thinking. Some of the artists paired together have never met in person.
