The ASU Seminars for Cannabis sativa, the Environment, and Your Health are back this semester. Please RSVP for the following events in Downtown Phoenix, in West Valley Campus, and on Zoom on Oct. 7 and 8 (Monday and Tuesday):
Monday, Oct. 7 at 4:45 p.m. – “Industrial Hemp Show & Tell” by Dan Nowell, Soil Seed & Water (at Wexford Building Room 130, 850 N 5th St #500, Phoenix)
Monday, Oct. 7 at 6 p.m. – “Cannabis sativa Downtown Science Social” at Arizona Wilderness DTPHX (at 201 E Roosevelt St, Phoenix; Appetizers will be served; BYOD)
Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 12:30 p.m. – “Hemp Processing by-products as Biopesticides: What Do We Do with Leftovers?” by Kimberly Gwinn, Ph.D.; University of Tennessee (at UCB Building Room 265, ASU West Valley Campus; Pizza and soda will be served at 12:15 pm; also available on Zoom upon RSVP)
Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 1:30 p.m. – “Oral Consumption of Cannabis Results in Changes to the Gut Microbiome, Neurochemicals, and Behavior” by Nichole Reisdorph, Ph.D., University of Colorado (at UCB Building Room 265, ASU West Valley Campus; also available on Zoom upon RSVP)
