Join the ASU Art Museum to celebrate the opening of the Fall ‘24 exhibition season! Festivities for five exhibitions on view will include delicious bites, refreshments, music by DJ Flawlyss and opportunities to meet artists and curators. Check out the art activities we’ll be hosting during the reception below:
Notes on Motherhood: Make your own Motherhood zine! Using magazines and other materials, create your own zine around the topic of motherhood and what it means to you.
Muddy Terrains: Mariana Ramos Ortiz + Estephania Gonzalez: Experience Estephania Gonzalez’s art live as she brings a unique performance in conjunction with “Muddy Terrains.”
Chicano/a/x Prints and Graphics: Selections from the Hispanic Research Center’s Collection, 1980–2010: Participate in live screen printing shirts with Attack Printing.
Spiraling, Twisting, Unraveling: Explorations in Pattern and Form: Check out local dance crew The Damsels perform a dance piece inspired by objects in “Spiraling, Twisting, Unraveling: Explorations in Pattern and Form.”
