This 45-minute session is reserved for ASU faculty, staff, and Teaching Assistants.
This workshop will be held online. The use of automated bots, AI assistants, or other meeting recording devices is prohibited without the prior approval of event coordinators.

Get Started with MediaPlus
Tired of running out of Canvas storage, managing broken video links or worrying about where to securely host your lecture recordings? Managing instructional video content across semesters can create digital clutter, access issues and tech headaches for you and your students.
This session offers a clear, centralized solution using MediaPlus, ASU's enterprise media streaming platform.
In this introductory workshop, we’ll address these common challenges. Through a live demonstration, you’ll learn how MediaPlus simplifies your workflow by providing a single, secure home for lectures, demonstrations and course videos. You’ll see step-by-step how to upload, organize and seamlessly share content with your students. Bring your questions and leave with a media strategy for your courses.
Objectives:
- Identify solutions to common media storage and sharing challenges, including when to use MediaPlus.
- Describe the process for uploading and managing instructional media in MediaPlus.
- Explain how to share videos with students through Canvas and other supported methods.
- Describe how to organize your media library for easy navigation, maintenance and reuse across future courses.
Target Audience: ASU Educators and Designers.
