Join us for Hayden's Ferry Review's Fall Craft Chat featuring Saba Keramati and Rebecca Martin.
The two will discuss their respective poems "Self Portrait as a Bowl of Persimmons" and "Plot Holes" in addition to sharing about their writing processes and inspirations.

Saba Keramati is a Chinese-Iranian writer from California. She is the author of Self-Mythology, selected by Patricia Smith (University of Arkansas Press, 2024). A winner of the 92NY Discovery Poetry Prize, Saba’s work appears in AGNI, Adroit Journal, Poet Lore, The Margins and other publications. She is the poetry editor at Sundog Lit.
Rebecca Martin (they/she) is the author of High-Tech Invasions of the Flesh (Bottle Cap Press, 2022). They are a queer poet, educator and roller skater from Ohio whose work appears Nimrod International Journal, Hayden's Ferry Review, Muzzle Magazine, Peach Mag and others. They received an Honorable Mention in Small Orange’s 2023 Emerging Woman Poet Honor and in the 2022 Gulf Coast Poetry Prize. They are a graduate of Oregon State University's MFA program, where they served as poetry editor for literary magazine 45th Parallel and as department steward for their graduate employee union. She currently lives and works in Pittsburgh
