How do we handle a hotter world and protect those at highest risk for harm? Join us for a sizzling webinar where we will explore the critical challenges and solutions for protecting at-risk groups during extreme heat events. Alicia Montalvo will analyze the risks extreme heat poses on especially vulnerable populations like athletes, children, unhoused adults, folks in mobile homes and individuals with drug addiction.

Additionally, Patricia Solis will recount her experience working with the governor’s office to shape the state’s first extreme heat preparedness plan. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from experts on how to keep vulnerable communities safe and cool when the heat turns up.

ASU’s College of Health Solutions offers its Health Talks speaker series to inspire collaboration and conversation on important topics in health. Each webinar is offered at no charge and approved for one continuing education credit.
