Hispanic and Latinx Excellence at ASU and Beyond Exhibit

Event description

  • Campus life
  • Free
  • Open to the public

This exhibit brings together Chicanx, Latinx and Hispanic personal experiences and achievements of faculty, staff and students at ASU along with artworks by NASA Psyche Inspired Creative Interns and Phoenix-based Peruvian artist Carlos Valcarcel. These individuals come from different disciplinary backgrounds across the ASU community and beyond. Their stories show the diversity of Chicanx, Latinx and Hispanic experience and why representation matters across the sciences and humanities. We hope that sharing these experiences will help break down stereotypes, foster a sense of belonging and encourage and inspire students and faculty in their own journeys.

Sponsored by the ALRISE Alliance at ASU West campus.

The exhibit is on display at Fletcher Library on the West campus until Oct. 27, 2023
