Event description

  • Arts and entertainment

Gallery 100 is thrilled to announce its latest exhibition, ‘i hate you guys.,’ a dynamic showcase of BFA artists exploring the multifaceted themes of identity, family dynamics, and ecological consciousness. This show features landscape and portrait photography, some with alternate processes like infrared film, as well as exploring family dynamics with intimate photographs. Sculpture is used to explore worlds, the environment, identity, and create introspection. Each artist—Grant Becker, Synnova Blattman, Megan Hennessy, Ann Huber, Sam Potter, Endyah Reed, Maxwel Reede, and Tycho Rowe—brings their unique artistic vision to the table, capturing the essence of light and form in their creations. From traditional mediums to innovative approaches such as neon and cast metals, the exhibition promises a sensory journey that invites reflection and dialogue. With materials ranging from fibers to wood, the artworks on display promise a tactile and visually stunning experience, inviting viewers to delve deep into the complexities of the human experience and our interconnectedness with the world around us. ‘i hate you guys.’ is not just an exhibition; it’s an exploration of the intersections between art, society, and the environment, inviting viewers to ponder their own place within this intricate web of existence.
