Event description

  • Professional and career development

The ICAP Center for Teaching and Learning at Arizona State University is a newly established center dedicated to helping post-secondary STEMM educators worldwide enhance their instruction. Grounded in ICAP theory—Interactive, Constructive, Active, and Passive learning modes—the center provides faculty with evidence-based, online and in-person professional development opportunities to move beyond passive instruction and better support student learning.

As part of the 2025 Yidan Prize Conference: Meeting the Future of Teaching and Learning, the ICAP Center for Teaching and Learning will host an Open House for attendees to explore the impactful work we’ve been doing—from ICAP faculty development workshops to innovative applications of ICAP with emerging technologies such Geneartive AI and Virtual Reality. Meet our team, learn about our initiatives, and discover how the ICAP Center is advancing research-driven teaching practices.
