Thursday, March 16, Monday–Thursdays March 20–23, 27–30: noon–5 p.m.–Jeffery Kennedy: Staging America–ArtSpace West

An installation of historical photos, narrative, film, video, projections, interactive websites and audio that present the history of the Provincetown Players, credited with ushering in American modern theatre. In only seven years, from 1915-1922, the Players presented 93 plays by 47 playwrights, including the first by Eugene O'Neill, Susan Glaspell, Edna St. Vincent Millay, and Djuna Barnes. This installation coincides with the release of IAP faculty Jeff Kennedy's new volume by the same title.
