This year we will have more guest artists than ever before, an entirely new Cultural Celebration and a Salsa Museum Pop Up designed by our Latin Sol Committee.

Saturday's events include:

10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Workshops in Student Pavilion, Senita Ballroom

6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Tribute Social Dance in Student Pavilion

Founded in 2017 as a part of ASU School of Music, Dance and Theatre's Sol Motion project, the festival is a three-day event composed of social and performance dance workshops, lectures by visiting guest artists, evening social dancing, dance performances and more.

Latin Sol encourages exposure to learning by bringing guest artists from out of state who provide varied teaching perspectives and encourage crossover interactions between multiple dance communities. 

Hosted by the ASU Salsa Club, Latin Sol is primarily by ASU students and alumni for the students and alumni. Although designed primarily with the ASU community in mind, Latin Sol also welcomes and cherishes participation by outside members of the dance community. The event bridges these communities and encourages a unification of all dance lovers.
