Live town hall: Leaders talk Workday

Join university leaders as they discuss the upcoming transition to Workday, ASU's new HR and payroll system that launches Dec. 23, 2024. They will speak about the new system, why ASU is moving to it and the benefits employees can expect.

Watch the live town hall at the Walton Center for Planetary Health. Seating capacity is limited to 300 on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Morgan R. Olsen, executive vice president, treasurer and chief financial officer. 
  • Michael G. Latsko, vice president and chief human resources officer.
  • Chelsea Tyrrell, assistant vice president, Provost Operations.
  • Michael Baumert, assistant vice president and controller.

Project team meet-and-greet

Starting at 8 a.m., attendees may enjoy complimentary food and beverages and meet Workday project team members in the Walton Center lobby adjacent to the first-floor auditorium. Michael G. Latsko, vice president and chief human resources officer, will also be on hand to discuss Workday and answer questions.

About Workday

ASU believes in giving its employees the best tools to help them work best. That is why it has invested resources in a multi-year project to move the university to Workday.

Workday combines finance, human resources and payroll systems into one location. ASU will have a single integrated system since it already uses Workday FMS as its financial management system. Users get a centralized location with convenient mobile access, a customizable home page and AI-powered assistance and search. 

Used by over 400 universities, Workday provides modern features that will help employees do things like:

  • Access paystubs and payroll information. 
  • Change and review benefits.
  • Enter time off.
  • Manage their employee profile. 
  • Onboard and hire new employees.
