Maricopa Community Colleges Fall Global Forum - One World, Many Stories: Sharing Narratives for Global Understanding

Event description
- Academic events
- Professional and career development
Join us for a day of exploration and connection as we uncover the transformative power of human connection in fostering empathy and understanding across diverse cultures. Our Global Forum will feature two thought-provoking lectures on empathy, along with opportunities to listen to personal narratives and engage with others to bridge cultural divides and cultivate a more interconnected world.
Whether you're an educator or global citizen, this event provides a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding of empathy, its role in promoting compassionate behavior, and how it can be applied in both educational and global contexts. Staff and faculty from all disciplines are encouraged to attend. Consider inviting your team - what a better way to build camaraderie than by engaging in meaningful conversations that promote respect, understanding and collaboration.
Please see the registration website for the presenters' bios.
These events support the igniting talent, transforming lives, and enriching communities through teaching, learning and service Mission of the Maricopa Community Colleges related to providing student global learning opportunities that stem from courses infused with global perspectives.
