Maroon and Gold Golf Classic

The Student Alumni Association, in partnership with the ASU Alumni Association, hosts an annual tournament, which has since been renamed in honor of the late Alissa Serignese, former vice president of the ASU Alumni Association.

The Double Devil, ’95 BA, ’17 M.Ed., was a passionate golfer who enjoyed playing with friends and furthering meaningful causes including student scholarships and cancer research. A zealous champion for Arizona State University, Alissa Serignese was known as an outstanding leader, role model and devoted Sun Devil. The vice president of the ASU Alumni Association and Office of University Events for 13 years, Serignese led constituent relations, university events, the Alumni Association’s student programming and scholarships and alumni programs during her time at ASU.

All proceeds raised from the tournament go toward funding ASU Alumni Association student scholarships to help undergraduate students pursue their academic dreams.
