Want to learn more about ASU MIX Center’s Visiting Artist Residency? This info session is your opportunity to dive into the details of the Summer/Fall 2025 program featuring what to expect during the six-week residency to how to submit a standout application.
Attendees will get a full overview of eligibility, facilities, support, exhibition opportunities, and how the MIX Center supports immersive artists through technical resources, mentorship, and a $7,000 stipend.
Who we’re looking for
Experienced artists and creative technologists (non-ASU, U.S. and international) working in immersive XR, AI, interactive installations, spatial audio, and performance who are ready to share impactful work with the public.
The residency experience
Spend up to six weeks at ASU MIX Center in Mesa, AZ installing and showcasing your work in our state-of-the-art Immersion Studio or public venues. Connect with students, host a workshop or talk, and join a vibrant creative community pushing the boundaries of new media.
How to apply
Submit a brief portfolio, artist statement, and project proposal by Friday, June 13, 2025.
