Nau te rourou, naku te rourou (With your basket, and my basket)
This installation’s title comes from a Maori whakatauki (proverb) that speaks to sharing resources and knowledge to ensure the well-being of all people involved. An installation of contemporary indigenous printmakers who approach the making process with their cultural lens intact, this exhibit will feature the work of Alexis Neal, Vanessa Edward and Toi Whakaata. A special opening reception will take place in ArtSpace West (just south of the campus bookstore) on Wednesday, Jan. 11 from 7 p.m.–9 p.m. The installation is free to the public and open on Mondays–Thursdays from noon–5 p.m. through Jan. 26.
