This session will provide an overview of the legal and practical issues to expect when caring for an aging loved one, including what legal documents to put in place to facilitate healthcare decision-making and management of financial affairs, care options available and Medicaid Arizona Long Term Care System as a source of funding for care. Bridget O’Brien Swartz, is the Vice President and Fiduciary Counsel for Mission Management and Trust Company and has practiced law over 25 years with a focus on elder and special needs law. Bridget O’Brien Swartz also serves as adjunct faculty for the LL.M. in Elder Law Program at Stetson University’s College of Law and at Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law.
