Next-Gen Summit at the MIX
Event description

Ever wondered what it's like to build video games for a living? Here's your shot to find out.
The Next-Gen Summit puts you inside a production house for a day. Guided by mentors, you'll rotate in small teams through the MIX Center's innovation spaces: VR, virtual production, a fabrication lab and sound design. Together with your team, you'll build your own playable game from scratch, with ASU students and industry pros coaching you the whole way.
Here's what your day looks like:
Meet the pros: Hear stories from ASU students and industry professionals on how they broke into games
Explore the tech: Get hands-on with VR, virtual production, 3D printing, and more
Build a game: Create a playable game level with your team
Show it off: Present your game to mentors and get feedback
Make connections: Meet other students who love games as much as you do, and see what it's like to study this at ASU
No experience needed, just bring your curiosity and be ready to create.
The Next-Gen Summit is a Games for Change event, presented in partnership with ASU Preparatory Schools and the ASU Endless Games & Learning Lab. Learn more about Games for Change → https://www.gamesforchange.org/
