Opening Reception | Speaks for Itself
Event description
- Arts and entertainment
- Free
- Open to the public
Art has long since been used to communicate and start a conversation, whether it be external or internal. “Speaks For Itself” is a BFA group exhibition of six artists who each use their respective mediums to initiate a dialogue with the world around them: Brianna Campbell, Annalise Hulbert, Victoria Isles, Ryan Ostrow, Bruce Ward and Karen Wieboldt. Through their distinct approaches to painting, printmaking, photography and sculpture, these artists examine beliefs and universal concepts, express the interaction between humans and the environment and reveal nuanced moments in time. What they share in common is a willingness to let the work speak for itself.
