The Labriola National American Indian Data Center, in partnership with The Virginia G. Piper Center for Creative Writing, invites you to a poetry workshop with Kinsale Drake (Diné).
Drake is a poet, playwright, and performer. Her work has appeared in many publications, including Teen Vogue and Time Magazine. She recently graduated from Yale University, where she received a number of awards for her poetry and is also the winner of the 2022 Joy Harjo Poetry Prize. Currently, Kinsale edits Changing Wxman Collective, directs NDN Girls Book Club, and is working on a debut manuscript of poetry.
The workshop will focus on developing and creating your own poem around the theme of identity. Space is limited. Please register to reserve your spot!
