Preserving and Documenting the History of Black Family and Community

In this interactive presentation, learn from the archivist of Black Collections at Arizona State University, Jessica Salow, about how she documents and preserves Black life in Arizona. We will discuss preservation techniques and tips to find resources at no or low cost to preserve your family and community history. Salow will also speak about her work over the past few years to create the first institutional archival collection at ASU Library that documents Black life in Arizona.
