Refugee Integration in Poland

Event description

  • Free
  • Open to the public

Many Polish cities have experienced an influx of refugees and migrants due to the crisis on the Poland-Belarus border and as a result of the war in Ukraine.

This Open World program brings leaders from organizations in Poland to explore the various aspects of providing services to migrants and refugees by both the private and public sectors.

The Open World program provides professional exchanges built on the foundational values of authentic communication and immersive cultural experiences, and connects international delegates with their peers in U.S. communities to exchange best practices and strengthen mutual understanding.

Open World is funded by the U.S. Congressional Office for International Leadership (COIL). COIL's mission is to inspire Congressional and citizen diplomacy with global civic and political leaders.

This Open World visit is coordinated by American Councils for International Education in cooperation with its local, U.S. partner, the Council of International Programs.

This discussion of refugee integration in Poland is being hosted at ASU by the Melikian Center: Russian, Eurasian, and East European Studies.
