Reverie

Event description

  • Arts and entertainment

Trail through a breach of space where the clouds dissipate as the sun sets and the moon rises while ocean waves wane, leaving masked figures in its wake. Discover the disguise you wear wavering when gracing over the endless details of a revering art collection as you uncover a new part of yourself in a story of personal creation. For what binds a story better together than the mind of the individual viewer?

“Reverie” is a BFA exhibition held in Gallery 100 that seeks to embrace the creativity of the mind while simultaneously challenging the inner perceptions that lie within it. Like slowly leafing through a book, chapter by chapter, expand the meaning behind each art piece you see. From still or moving pictures, elusive paintings that decorate lengthy walls, and even glorious sculptures said to appear unreal until given a closer look. Build a story you can tell for decades to come. Featuring artworks from Lyzette Armendariz, Micheal Ketchum, Bailee Lewis, Teanna Ong, Kayla Samsing, and Beth Wisniewski.

Exhibition Dates: Oct. 29 - Nov. 7
Opening Reception: Tuesday, Oct. 29, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Gallery Hours: Monday - Friday, 12 - 5 p.m.
