Event description
- Academic events
- Campus life
- Professional and career development
ASU Sacramento Scholars program provides students who have an interest in government, public policy, and public service the opportunity to gain first-hand experience through internships in California’s capital in Sacramento.
Scholars will gain benefits of working directly with legislators or other California State agencies, including deeper understanding of policy making processes, strengthened research skills, and access to networking and professional development. They will also be part of a cohort of other Sun Devils who share the interest in making a difference through policy action.
ASU will provide a living stipend to assist scholars with their living situation in Sacramento. Need-based scholarships may also be available for other costs.
Sacramento Scholars is open only to students in the Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions, as well as students from The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at ASU.
Join us for this info session to learn more about the Sacramento Scholars Program benefits, application and selection process, and to meet the Sac Scholars admin team! We look forward to seeing you there.
