Scaling Water Resilience and Stewardship
Event description
- Sustainability
Impact through science, data, and corporate engagement
Forests and grasslands play a significant role in providing freshwater for ecosystems and regional economies. However, these ecosystems are at risk of elevated levels of drought, wildfire and land degradation. Under increasing water risks, private sector investors need methods to quantify and verify water related benefits to report on corporate water goals. Practitioners need to understand the latest science and data available to scale their water stewardship activities and attract investments.
This event represents a science-based training opportunity on available tools and methods to calculate and value the benefits of water stewardship activities and ecosystem management to achieve water resilience. Throughout the event, there will be exceptional networking opportunities to scale solutions for addressing water challenges and meet sustainability goals.
