Join us for this year’s Sol Rhythmz Dance Festival! Sol Rhythmz is a celebration of African diasporic culture. This FREE event features guest artists, dance workshops, live music, dance film, performances and student presentations. Participants will take a journey through dances from West Africa to the Caribbean. The day ends with a fête featuring food, DJ, dancing and local vendors.
Registration is free and open to the public.

10:30 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.
Caribbean Contemporary/Soca with Shola K. Roberts
Noon - 12:30 p.m.
"Smile" - a dance film by Shayla Eshelman followed by
Personal narratives of members from the ASU Caribbean Students Association
1:30 - 2:30 p.m.
"Our Journey to Grenada"
Panel discussion with Shola K. Roberts, Shalay Garcia, Caleb Hampson and Kylie Wright
2:45 - 4 p.m.
Traditional Malinke Dance Foundations and Compositions with Akosua Akoto
4:15 - 6 p.m.
Sol Rhythmz Fête with live DJ and performances
Parking Information: Cashless paid parking is available in Lot 27 and in the visitor garage on McAllister south of Orange.
*Note: Orange is closed. Enter Lot 27 from the south side.
