SOLS Three-minute Thesis and Research Poster Competition

2nd Annual Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition!

Join us for the second annual SOLS 3-Minute Thesis (3MT®) on October 29th at 5 pm in LSA 191. Ph.D. students will present their dissertations in only three-minutes for a chance to win up to $500 in research/travel grants! In this event, initially developed by the University of Queensland, students showcase their exciting research while practicing effective and engaging science communication.

Any Ph.D. student in the research stage with at least some results to present from their dissertation research is eligible to compete. Submit a video by October 8th for initial judging by a panel of faculty judges; top entries will advance to the live event. Workshops are available to help prepare presentations.
