Sparky's Pickleball Showdown

Get your paddles ready and prepare for the best pickleball party of the summer! Join us on Saturday, June 17, 2023 for Sparky's Pickleball Showdown - the first-ever pickleball tournament at Sun Devil Stadium. Escape the summer heat and stay cool inside the fully air-conditioned indoor San Tan Ford Club at Sun Devil Stadium. 

This event invites the most skilled and competitive pickleball players from across Valley and include three levels of tournament play – beginner, intermediate and advanced – preceded by a warm-up play round during a screening of Semi-Pro (rated R) to get players in the competitive spirit. Players will be competing for the prestigious title of "Pickleball Champion" and some exciting prizes, including the opportunity to win tickets to our upcoming fall comedy series!

Additional Details:

* Register your Pickleball Team consisting of two players. One team leader must provide contact information. No tournament fee required.

* Be sure to bring your paddle with you if you’re planning to participate, as paddles are not provided.

* All players (tournament or free-play) will have to sign a release waiver prior to participating. You can view it here, print and bring with you for quick check-in at the event.

*We’ll send a reminder the week of the event with any additional updates.

*Concessions will be available for purchase.

12 p.m. Doors open/ warm up time
1 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. Open play
2 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Beginner tournament play
4 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Intermediate tournament play
6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Advanced tournament play
