Are you looking to create surveys that deliver meaningful and reliable insights? Whether you are a student, researcher or professional, understanding survey design is essential for success in fields like psychology, education, social sciences, user experience design and healthcare.

Join Abimelec ‘Abi’ Mercado Rivera from the Unit for Data Science and Analytics as he takes you from the basics of survey creation to techniques for analyzing survey data using Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). Learn about survey design basics that will help you craft clear, unbiased questions based on theoretical or conceptual frameworks. We will discuss how to identify patterns and uncover the latent relationships between your survey variables using EFA, and you will learn how to use CFA to test the validity of your survey model using advanced models to confirm theoretical frameworks.

We will use real-life examples in our demonstrations using accessible tools like SPSS and R. This Open Lab is designed to be your first step in learning practical survey skills and will be taught at an intermediate level, but don’t let that get in your way. All levels are welcome! Don’t miss this opportunity to elevate your survey game; reserve your spot and join us for Part 1 of our survey series!
