EmiT: A Failed Experiment

Written by Leroy Hood

Directed by Phil Weaver-Stoesz

Synopsis: Torrie and Elliot’s relationship is at its breaking point. Starting from there, the couple relive their relationship backwards, searching for something to save them if there's anything worth saving. This sad, funny play explores memory, toxic cycles, bonding through fear, and what it means to truly know someone.

Theatre Labs, presented by the School of Music, Dance and Theatre, are original works by ASU students that are minimally produced and presented as readings of works in development. In Theatre Labs, audiences see theatre original theatre works that are still in development and provide feedback to aid in the creative process.

This event is free and open to the public. No tickets or RSVP required. Theatre Labs are presented in Nelson Fine Arts Center, Room 133. Parking is available at ASU Gammage and in paid spaces at the ASU Art Museum and on the street.
