TJ Walker in Conversation

Designer TJ Walker will be in conversation with author, curator, historian and founder of NOMMO Cultural Strategies Tyree Boyd-Pates at the ASU FIDM Museum in Los Angeles. Walker will discuss creating the Los Angeles-based Cross Colours brand which reimagined jeans, hoodies and t-shirts through bold color, oversized proportion and positive messaging, including its tagline “clothing without prejudice." 

This event is in collaboration with the Black Design Collective and is part of the public programming for our current exhibition, "Obsessed: Fashion and Nostalgia in the ‘90s" open now through June 27. The gallery will be open late for this event.
