In his talk, he will also recount his experience as a teenager in WWII internment camps to his more recent work as a designer of Disney merchandise.

The event is part of an ASU Film and Media Studies series celebrating animation history that is sponsored by Arizona Humanities and Phoenix Public Library, with additional support from ASU's Asian Pacific American Studies program and Virginia G. Piper Center for Creative Writing.
