Vulnerable Visions

March 3 to 7 | Gallery 100

Opening reception | March 4 | 5 to 7 p.m.

Six interdisciplinary artists get up close and personal in "Vulnerable Visions," a BFA group exhibition presented at Gallery 100. Artists Anastasia Friesen, Eduardo Mora, Morgan Pearce, Sydney Robinovitch, Isalia Sanchez Cazarez and Yu Shao have come together to challenge the viewer to take on a new point of view. These artists utilize drawing, printmaking, painting and video to expose their struggles to find self-fulfillment while navigating through societal and environmental pressures.

These artists channel emotion through vivid color, loud body language and experimental mark-making. Each artist's work highlights the way they all had to deal with uncomfortable emotions to have a more confident sense of self. This exhibition will motivate viewers to reflect on their own sense of comfort and whether they have truly taken a moment to be vulnerable and deal with their inner struggles.
