Worlds for Change Challenge Kickoff
Event description
- Arts and entertainment
Join us as we kick off the Worlds for Change Challenge, a distributed festival of worldbuilding with the opportunity to win financial aid packages to one of ASU’s new transdisciplinary XRts graduate degree programs at the Media and Immersive eXperience (MIX) Center in Mesa, Arizona, or at ASU California Center Broadway in Los Angeles.
Imagine the immersive world you want to see, and prototype creative visions for the future. Open digitally to all who wish to attend and locally to current and recently completed undergraduate students at ASU, this is a chance to learn worldbuilding skills and immediately put them into action. MIX Center artists and engineers will facilitate workshops throughout the day in-person and in MIX Center's digital twin in Spatial. Those attending virtually in Spatial will receive a link after they register. No experience required.
