Yiliang Sun | Aspects of Art in Totalitarian China, 1949-1979

April 18 | 2 to 4 p.m. | Art Building, Room 232 | Zoom

The School of Art invites you to attend the oral defense of PhD candidate Yiliang Sun's dissertation from 2 to 4 p.m. on April 18. Anyone interested in attending is welcome.

Yiliang Sun's study aims to break through some previous misunderstandings about the study of modern and contemporary Chinese art, examine and analyze the artistic phenomena that appear in it from a more historical-sociological perspective, and explore their interactive relationship with the political-social system of the time.
