Join in this day of fun writing activities! This event is open to all ages and attendees can enter to win a Young Adult book. Learn about some books that can spark your creativity, choose from some fun breakout seassons, enjoy a free pizza lunch and then participate in a spoken word poetry workshop and open mic session, featuring poet and teaching artist Tomas Stanton during the afternoon.

The afternoon events coincide with the ASU Open Door activities happening at ASU Polytechnic campus from 1 p.m.–5 p.m. that day.  

Teachers will receive a certificate documenting professional development hours.

 

9:30 a.m.–10:30 a.m. YA Books to Spark Your Creativity
