The ASU Maroon and Gold Band are joined by ASU Philharmonia in another joint performance this time at ASU Gammage!

Join us for a wonderful evening of exciting repertoire conducted by ASU faculty Julie Desbordes and James G. Hudson who will be joined by ASU Graduate Conductors.

The ClariZona Clarinet Choir, presents a 1 hour concert of original music and arrangements for clarinet choir. The group, directed by Dr. Robert Spring and Dr. Joshua Gardner, is membered by students in the ASU clarinet studio. This will be Dr. Spring’s final off campus concert with ClariZona as he is retiring after this year. Please come and help us celebrate!

Jazz pianist Frank Carlberg and composer/electronic musician Gabriel Bolaños present an evening of sonic explorations and electroacoustic improvisations. This concert will be a sneak-peak of their second collaborative album. Gabriel and Frank's first album Charity and Love (2020, Red Piano Records) was met with critical acclaim and praised for being " profoundly meditative, ethereally beautiful...and unlike anything you may have heard before.

 

The ASU Latin Jazz Band under the direction of Robby Carrillo performs both Afro-Cuban Latin-jazz and Brazilian jazz repertoire, with reverence to authentic elements of these rich musical traditions.
