A special program exploring works by composers presented on Jennifer Koh’s Grammy-winning album “Alone Together” featuring guest violinist Jennifer Koh alongside ASU students and faculty. This concert is produced in collaboration with The Phoenix Symphony’s Contemporary Music Festival “Reverb”.

Poetry played a crucial role in the Athenian democracy of ancient Greece; throughout American history, poet luminaries such as Walt Whitman, Langston Hughes and Maya Angelou have employed the power of the pen to influence leaders and their fellow citizens.
