Corrie Whisner joined the College of Health Solutions faculty in August 2014. Her research focuses on the effects of diet on human metabolism. Specifically, she is interested in studying the effects of dietary components on the gut microbiome and related metabolic diseases such as osteoporosis and obesity.
Originally developed to support microbiome research, scikit-bio has evolved into a versatile tool applicable across diverse fields and is continuously supporting the broad omics research community.
Digital Planetary exploration is a large part of SESE's research portfolio. ASU is participating in current and future projects that are on the cutting edge of planetary exploration.
