We invite you to meet the 2023 ASU cohort of the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, YALI, Leadership in Public Management Institute. The Mandela Washington Fellows will meet with our community from 3:30-5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 23, at the University Center, UCENT, lobby on the Downtown Phoenix campus.

The Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders is a U.S. Department of State program that Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions has hosted annually since 2014, with the exception of 2020 because of the pandemic.

Interested in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)? Want to understand your alternatives to a litigated case? Interested in finding unique solutions outside of a courtroom that meet the needs of your clients? Want to know more about mediation, arbitration, and other forms of conflict resolution processes? 

Arizona State University benefits-eligible employees can get a 30-minute health screening. Several tests, including readings on cholesterol, blood pressure and triglycerides are available free of charge.

Other tests are available for as low as a $20 copay. Cash, check, MasterCard or Visa are accepted. Bring your ASU ID and health insurance cards.

We know that applying for college can be overwhelming and we’d like to help. We invite you to meet with your Watts College representative to discuss any questions you have regarding selecting a degree in public service, completing the ASU application or enrollment. Feel free to drop in at the Downtown Phoenix Campus at this upcoming event.

Join the Center for Constitutional Design for our 1st Annual Constitution Day Address. Our inaugural Constitution Day speaker will be Russ Feingold, President of the American Constitution Society. He served as a United States Senator from Wisconsin from 1993 to 2011 and a Wisconsin State Senator from 1983 to 1993. From 2013 to 2015, he served as the United States Special Envoy to the Great Lakes Region of Africa and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
