Día de los Muertos, a holiday that originates in Pre-Columbian Mesoamerica, honors the lives of ancestors who have passed.
We invite you and your families to bring a picture of a late loved one and place it with marigolds on one of the altars, or ofrendas, and stay for the festivities that follow!

This training will be held at the Polytechnic campus but is open to ASU staff and faculty from all campuses. Join us after the training for an optional tour of the Garden Commons event space.
Don’t let the flu invade ASU! Throughout the month of October, ASU employees eligible for benefits can receive a free flu shot as part of the employee wellness program. Employees not eligible for benefits can receive a regular flu vaccine for $50 and high dose for seniors for $85. Cash, checks and cards are accepted. HIP participants can earn 500 points.
For the third year in a row, the Office for Veteran and Military Academic Engagement will be hosting a dedicated military ofrenda as part of the Día de los Muertos celebrations on the Polytechnic campus. We invite students, faculty, and staff to contribute photos and memorabilia honoring their friends and family members who served in the military.
Our ofrenda will be displayed starting the week prior to our Día de los Muertos event on October 30 at 4 PM in the Polytechnic Student Union. We welcome:
