Vertixe Sonora (Spain) presents an evening of cutting-edge contemporary music, featuring bold sound explorations and innovative compositions by national and international artists. Vertixe Sonora, founded in Galicia (Spain) in 2011, is a leading contemporary music ensemble recognized for its innovative and cross-disciplinary approach. The group has commissioned over 300 works by emerging and established composers, performed at major festivals worldwide, released

Performances showcasing the finalists for the ASU Concerto Competition.

Each year, the school holds the competition for its top performing music students, giving them the opportunity to perform to entire concertos and for the school to program musical selections around those concertos. The winners are then invited to present concertos with one of the large music ensembles in the upcoming concert season.
