Imagining the Tropics is a history of the development of tourism in the Caribbean from the 1910s through the 1970s that focuses on the ways women’s labors of hospitality, writing and advocacy built the industry and its ubiquitous imagery of tropical island relaxation, escape and romance.
The Philosophy Colloquium is presented by the philosophy faculty in the School of Historical, Philosophical and Religious Studies.

Performances showcasing the finalists for the ASU Concerto Competition.
Each year, the school holds the competition for its top performing music students, giving them the opportunity to perform to entire concertos and for the school to program musical selections around those concertos. The winners are then invited to present concertos with one of the large music ensembles in the upcoming concert season.
