To commemorate Black Speculative Fiction Month, join us at ASU’s Marston Theater for a special screening of The B.A.T.U. Project: ADAM THE FIRST, Ghana’s first feature-length science fiction film.

Recently honored with three awards at the Miami International Science Fiction Film Festival—including Best Afrofuturism Film and the festival’s top honor, the BEACON Award—this groundbreaking film explores humanity’s survival through the story of Adam, an envoy from the United African Federation sent to repopulate a new planet after Earth’s devastation.

Film and Media Studies at ASU invites you to its annual FMS Student Showcase. Showcased work from students includes script readings, short film screenings, research paper presentations, and more.
