This award-winning classic choreopoem centers stories from the wide-ranging experiences of seven Black women whose lives, stories, struggles and challenges intersect in New York City’s Harlem.

Each will be ten minutes in length, created by emerging artists working in a feverish 24 hours to execute a production from the ground up. Spring Dance Fest showcases the creativity in the ASU dance program, featuring student performers in original choreography by students, faculty and guest artists. This performance includes some of the most innovative work of the 2025-26 season.

Tickets must be purchased in advance at the Herberger Institute Box Office. There will be no in-person sales at the event. Guests who do not have a ticket at the door will be directed to purchase them online.

This free community festival celebrates the hip hop community in the Phoenix area. With 3v3 Freestyle battles and choreography competitions running all day, Sol Power culminates in a Saturday night party featuring live DJs, graffiti artists and dance competitions—all set against the backdrop of the ASU Art Museum's stunning architecture. The artists spend nearly a year developing research-intensive projects that center on a broad range of subjects. The Emerging Artists II performances will include projects presented by Rinku Das and Yawen Luo.
