The Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention is thrilled to host Dr. Philip Smith for a visiting scholar seminar on Oct. 17 on the Downtown Phoenix campus. His talk will focus on Behavioral design for tailoring HIV prevention and U=U messaging: Studies on improving men's engagement

This seminar is free to attend and will take place both in person and on Zoom for those attending virtually. 

Interest in Citizens’ Assemblies is rising across North America, with public authorities increasingly commissioning deliberative processes. In response, ASU’s CSPO is partnering with the Federation for Innovation in Democracy (FIDE) to offer a workshop and training program. The Citizens’ Assembly School is designed for civil servants, politicians, civil society members, and private sector representatives looking to understand and implement Citizens' Assemblies and other deliberative methods.

A fair made just for students who want to accelerate their masters degree!

At this event ASU undergraduate students will be able to connect in-person with various programs at ASU who offer an accelerated (4+1) pathway into a masters degree. Come dressed in business casual ready to connect with a recruiter or advisor who can talk about their program!

Emergency Management Training Day

The Emergency Management Training Day will showcase strategies and best practices to prepare for, respond to, recover from and mitigate the impact of emergencies and disasters.

ASU public safety teams and campus stakeholders will present various topics during the day in 45-minute increments. Attendees can also speak with ASU public safety representatives.

Stay for specific sessions or come and go as you please.

The ultimate purpose of the Arizona Native Vote Election Protect Project is to protect the right to vote for Native American voters. The project started in 2008 after Native Americans were disproportionately disenfranchised by Arizona Proposition 200, Arizona’s voter identification law. Please join us to learn how you can assist our community.

Jhoana Molina is an Immunization Equity Manager at Maricopa County Department of Public Health. Jhoana is an alumnus from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism, a Arizona Latino Media Association board member and a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists. Students will have the unique opportunity to ask questions and network with our guest over a free pasta lunch.
