With a trained facilitator, volunteers will consider a provocative statement on public assistance programs that support health (such as SNAP, etc). They will then embody a position ranging from "agree strongly" to "disagree strongly," allowing us to connect with differing views and practice intentional listening. Attendees will gain critical skills in respectfully discussing difficult topics.

Professor Irvine and Professor Beetso are working with 5 ILP students  on two tax issues: 1) dual taxation and its impact on tribes and 2) online sales tax and its interplay with bedrock Indian law principles.
